On stage, Sophia recently appeared in The Crucible, directed by Lyndsey Turner at the National Theatre. Over the past decade, she has worked closely with many of the UK’s leading directors and creatives, building a body of work rooted in performance, depth, and transformation.

Through her Midlands-based production company, Dayrider Pictures, Sophia is developing a slate of original projects inspired by her upbringing in rural Northampton. The company’s debut pilot, Sign Here Please, starring Lily James, begins filming in October.
Sophia’s creative practice extends into visual art, fashion film, and collaborative performance. She is a current member of the Theo Adams Company, and has performed and choreographed for fashion houses and cultural platforms including Loverboy for Charles Jeffrey, Solange's A Seat at the Table for Tate Britain, Crawl for Purple Magazine, and BLOOD for King Kong Magazine. Other collaborations include Rooms with FKA twigs, Choreomania for Hoi Polloi, Resurrection for Fiorucci, and 11 o’ Clock Number for Halpern.

As a visual artist, Sophia focuses on reimagination, using her practice to question, redefine, and play with ideas of desire, sexuality, and religion. She uses herself as a central figure to explore how these themes are shaped by both personal experience and her wider community. Through movement and voicework, she draws on ancestral narratives and community memory to explore belonging.

Sophia is taking on her first directorial project with a personal short film titled Mother May I, bringing her experience in performance, character, and storytelling behind the camera for the first time.
